• For which extensions is available the domain recovery operation?

  You can recover an expired domain for the following extensions: .com .es .eu .cat .net .org .biz .info .name. For any other extensions or domains that you do not see from the panel, please contact us via the link "request support." We will check if the domain can still be recovered.

• I recovered the domain, now I have to renew it?

  No, the domain recovery operation also includes the annual renewal. The new length of service starts from the date of original domain expiration.

• How can I recover an expired domain?

  If you want to recover a .it domain maintained by Register.it, log into your Control Panel and visit Domain Recovery page. You will find the list of your expired domains: follow the instructions and check if you can recover your domain, then click on the 'Recover' button at the bottom of the page.

• Is any documentation required to complete the process?

  No. The recovery operation will be automatic: you do not have to submit any documentation. You will only pay the renewal price. The procedure is completed in a few business days.

• With the recovery of my domain, do I automatically recover also all content and mailboxes?

  We can not guarantee that with domain retrieval, content and boxes are automatically restored. If it is not possible to retrieve the content, you must re-publish the site and recreate the mailboxes.

• Why my domain is in a state of redemption period at a cost of € 160?

  For some extensionsthe authority applies to Register.it a higher cost for the required operations (up to 10 times greater than a normal renewal). For this reason, we always recommend to renew the domain within the agreed time.
