Level 0 (striping) - a striped set of data, allows high-performance I/O at low cost but provides no redundancy. The total capacity is the addition of the individual capacities of the disks. Level 1 (mirroring) - provides redundancy by writing identical data into each member disk of the array, providing a high level of availability and data reliability. The storage capacity is that of the single disk. Level 5 - the most common type of RAID. Distributes parity across some or all member drives of an array and provides a redundancy based on parity checking of stored data. The storage capacity of RAID level 5 is equal to the capacity of member disks, minus the capacity of one member disk. Level 6 - Use a blocks-level division with parity data twice distributed across all disks. Very high fault tolerance due to double redundancy, which however reduces the writing speed. In our configuration, the storage capacity is equal to twice the single disk in the array. Level 10 (stripping + mirroring) - RAID nested. Create a striped set from a series of mirrored disks that provides fault tolerance and improved performance. In our configuration, the storage capacity is equal to twice the single disk in the array, Fault tolerance is less than RAID 6.
